On the final day of the of the 37th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show, Kent Farrington took top honors in the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix and FEI World Cup™ Qualifier. As always, the show featured international show jumpers, elegant show hunters, celebrities and more.
Those attending the 37th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show included Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Diana Taylor, Julianne Moore, Kelly Ripa, Jerry Seinfeld, Lorne Michaels, Aida Turturro, Rosanna Scotto, Jill Rappaport, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, James Lipton, David Yurman, Steven Klein, Waynescot Lukas and Gene Cornish of the sixties rock group, The Rascals. |

This past Sunday at the Greenwich Polo Club, His Grace the Duke of Argyll and Peter Brant led the celebrations at the opening polo match of the Fall Season with the inaugural 20 goal USPA Royal Salute Jubilee Cup.
Royal Salute supports some of the most luxurious polo matches in the world, staged in the grandest venues and The Royal Salute Jubilee Cup enclosure in the beautiful, grandstand at Greenwich Polo is no exception. Local, national and international guests were treated to afternoon tea at L’Escale restaurant’s afternoon tea as well as a specially curated whisky salute prior to the match. They also enjoyed a private tour of the Karen Kilimnik exhibiton at the Brant Foundation Art Study Center. Asprey, British jewellers and silversmiths since 1781, created a special handmade sterling silver and gilt whisky tumbler for the winning team captain to mark the occasion.

Nestled in the beautiful backcountry of Greenwich, Connecticut, and internationally recognized for its rosters of legendary teams and players, Greenwich Polo Club hosts public USPA high-goal polo matches on Sundays in June, July and September. |
