Brunch gathering at the New York School of Interior Design with a special presentation by New York interior designer Michael Simon, "Channeling Genius: Recreating Edith Wharton's Bedroom Suite."

Christopher J. Cyphers, President of the New York School of Interior Design and the Trustees of The Mount (the country estate of author Edith Wharton in Lenox, Massachusetts), held a brunch reception at the School this past Wednesday with a special presentation by New York interior designer Michael Simon, "Channeling Genius: Recreating Edith Wharton's Bedroom Suite."

Michael Simon has lectured extensively on the decorative arts, including for Sotheby’s and the Institute of Classical Architecture. Mr. Simon is overseeing the long-awaited recreation of Edith Wharton’s bedroom suite at The Mount.

Last Friday, at Wally Finlay's Gallery on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, there was a premier exhibition of Artist Krista Bard's "Sacred Words" collection which benefited "The Hope For Depression Research Foundation (HDRF). HDRF was founded by Ms. Bard's sister Audrey Gruss, in honor of their mother Hope.
