Lotsa celebs, now a signature of the Cinema Society’s events, flocked to the Tribeca Grand Hotel the other night for the Hugo Boss-sponsored special screening of Fracture.
The riveting psychological thriller stars Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins and Academy Award nominee Ryan Gosling, both of whom received raves from the critics for their standout performances in this crackling, edge-of-your-seat drama.
Gosling was on hand that night and following the screening, he headed with the stellar group to the brand new Private Roof Club of the Gramercy Park Hotel.

CBS News anchor Katie Couric was on the town bowling a couple of Wednesday nights ago, attending the “Strike Out Colon Cancer” event at 300 New York for the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance. Ms. Couric, who brought her youngest daughter as her official date, showed her support to help eradicate the disease that claimed the life of her husband Jay Monahan nine years ago.
Ms. Couric is a co-founder of the NCCRA which is dedicated to the eradication of colorectal cancer by promoting the importance of early medical screening and by funding research to develop better testes, treatments and ultimately, a cure.
